"I was truly involved with this book as I read it. The characters I could visualize, the story had so many twists and turns, and the writing was incredible. I felt happy, sad, confused, afraid, and tearful in different parts of the book. I like books that can touch so many emotions. I hope this author writes the sequel soon. I will miss the characters til I meet them again in Book 2!"

" Some of the stories in this book belong to famous people, some to Americans, some to non-Americans, men, women, etc.--in other words, the paralysis of fear and strategies to deal with it exist across the broad spectrum of experiences. I was cheered by this. I also found valuable the mix of personal stories and advice. If this book skewed too far to one or the other, its formula would be less effective. I was moved by the stories and I highlighted a lot of advice to mobilize in my own battles with fear--going back and forth between the two felt less intensive than sticking with one genre or the other. "
